This Week We. . . By Zoe O. and Fiona M. May 12, 2017 This Week in Math. . . This week in math was pretty big. We had MCAS, with 44 questions. It was challenging, but we all did our best. We ended up with two extra recesses, two free times, and FOUR STICKERS!!!!!!! We also did conversions, and a geometry review. This Week in Social Studies. . . In Social Studies we got a lesson from Mr. Quan about the French and Indian War. The French and Indian War fought about land. Great Britain, France, Native Americans, and the colonists all fought for land in America. Great Britain won the war and made all the rules for the country. The Colonists did not like the fact that Great Britain was making all the rules so the Colonists rebelled. This Week in Book Groups. . . In book groups, we did this thing called “Fish Bowl”. A “Fish Bowl” is when a group does their normal reading group, but with another group spectating them and taking notes. It was efficient, and everyone did well.© Thompson 5th Grade 187 Everett St, Arlington, MA 02474 This weeks "This Week We..." post was created by Zoe B. and Uno.
